Warm, lyrical, and quietly radical. Clarity’s journey helps give voice to feelings many gifted children carry but do not always know how to express.

About the author

Ana Lezama writes for children with big thoughts, big feelings, and bright minds.

Ana Lezama makes her debut as a children’s author with the picture book Clarity Bright and the “Too Much” Problem, inspired by her own childhood and shaped by years of work as an early childhood educator.

From an early age, Ana had a mind beyond her years—marked by deep thinking, creativity, and an endless curiosity about the world. Often seen as different because of the way she questioned, imagined, and understood life, she sometimes felt out of place among those around her.

Today, she writes heartfelt stories to help children feel understood, valued, and proud of who they are—while also nurturing their curiosity and love of learning through small sparks of science woven throughout the Clarity Bright series. Because every bright, curious, and imaginative child deserves a place where they truly belong.
